MULTIPLIER EVENT OF THE ZERO WASTE CATERING LAB PROJECT IN CELJE
On October
24, 2023, we proudly showcased the culmination of our efforts as the Zero Waste
Catering Lab project drew to a close. Our event gathered participants from
approximately 30 diverse organizations, primarily schools, alongside
representatives from esteemed entities including the City of Celje, the
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Ecologists without Borders, local
restaurants, food producers, waste management company Simbio, and charitable
organizations such as Lions Club Celje Mozaik, the Federation of Lions Clubs of
Slovenia and diverse media.
During this
showcase, we presented the various components of our project, including our
comprehensive website, platform, e-guide, and e-recipe book as well as the
video guide.
The
atmosphere at the event was nothing short of inspiring—a collective spirit of
collaboration and commitment to a more sustainable future permeated throughout.
Participants embraced our vision of forging a better world together through
proactive measures in waste reduction and sustainable catering practices.
